Ravenwolf Productions was founded by Lonn Bailey. Today he guides a team of skilled, independent professionals who produce the highest quality film and video products.

Lonn earned a degree in radio, TV and film from the University of Memphis. He began his career with an audio-visual/video production company, where he learned the importance of a strong foundation of audio, video, projection and troubleshooting skills. From there he moved to a corporate video position with First Tennessee. There he shot, lit, edited, produced and directed numerous projects: training videos, PSAs, product promotions, employees news magazines and much more. He was promoted to Director of Photography for the corporation.

First as a student and then as a staff instructor at the International Film and Television workshops in Rockport, Maine, Lonn was immersed in electronic cinematography, the study of using a video camera in place of a film camera. Through that experience he began to see his work in a whole new light..literally. He began to light his video productions as if he were shooting for film.

He studied Advanced Video Camera techniques under Michael Hofstein. There he gained new skills and a new mentor in Michael Hofstein. That relationship led Lonn to a three-week stint working on the TV series Acapulco Heat and major motion pictures such as Rush Hour and The Learning Curve.

From that experience Lonn decided to pursue his dream of founding his own company. He acquired the knowledge and the equipment to do it right. So he created Ravenwolf Productions.

Today Lonn takes advantage of his experience and his contacts. He hires only the best in the business. Lonn has worked on four feature films and more than 50 35mm film commercials, where he learned to be a grip, electrician, camera assistant, dolly grip. He’s also a professional camera operator, and he’s earned credits as a film camera operator and broadcast television camera operator. He has worked for the Discovery Channel, Inside Edition, Biography, ESPN, FOX and many more
